Al Ahli Tripoli from Libya achieved a commanding win of 107–81 against Kriol Star from Cape Verde in the first of two quarterfinal matchups where the victor advanced.
The victory was fueled by an exceptional showing from Fabian White Jr., who tallied 34 points and 13 rebounds, with Jaylen Adams adding 19 points.
Joel Ntambwe was the standout performer for Kriol Star, scoring 25 points and securing seven rebounds—both team highs.
The second game of the night was arguably the most exciting in Pretoria so far, with Egypt’s Al Ittihad narrowly defeating Morocco’s FUS Rabat 86–83 in overtime to keep their hopes alive in the competition.
Nisre Zouzou of FUS Rabat made a crucial three-pointer to tie the game and force overtime. However, Al Ittihad maintained their composure during the extra period and kept their flawless record intact.
