Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has accused security staff at the popular Spanish nightclub, Hi Ibiza, of attempting to kill him and members of his team during an incident on Saturday night.
Davido made the allegation in a post on his Instagram story in the early hours of Sunday, sharing images of some of the security personnel whom he claimed were involved in the altercation.
“@Hiibizaofficial security just tried to kill me and my team!!!” he wrote. “All of yall goin down!!!”
The singer, who is currently vacationing on the island with close associates including his manager Asa Asika and nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chiefpriest, did not provide full details of what led to the confrontation but appeared visibly shaken in his posts.
Davido and his entourage have been in Ibiza over the past few days, sharing photos and videos from their luxury getaway on social media.
As of the time of this report, details surrounding the incident remain unclear, and no official statement has been released by Hi Ibiza nightclub or Spanish authorities.
