Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle, has announced his final squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers as Ahmed Musa and Maduka Okoye, two experienced players, have been dropped from the team.
Musa, Nigeria’s most capped international player, was included in the provisional 39-man squad released earlier, but failed to make the final cut and Okoye, the Udinese FC goalkeeper, was also left out of the team.

The Super Eagles are gearing up for the must-win matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe later this month.
The team will open their camp in Kigali on March 16, ahead of their match against Rwanda on March 21 before hosting Zimbabwe in Uyo.
