The Chelsea boss has revealed the injury status of Cole Palmer and two key men before the Blues’ last-16 Conference League second leg against Copenhagen.
Enzo Maresca is not sure if Cole Palmer, Reece James and Christopher Nkunku will play for Chelsea against Copenhagen on Thursday.
Palmer, substituted early against Leicester City on Sunday, struggled with illness before the top-flight game, while club captain James was absent due to being unwell.
The Italian manager revealed that Nkunku was also now doubtful because of illness.

Speaking ahead of Thursday’s UEFA Conference League last 16, the Chelsea boss disclosed who could miss out due to injury while refusing to divulge who he intends to start in goal, with Robert Sanchez and Fillip Jorgensen vying for a place in the XI.
“For Cole, Reece and Christo, today has been first session [of the week],” Maresca said. “Yesterday they were not here and two days ago we had a rest. Today they trained with us, took part in the session, and we will see tomorrow if we can use some of them.”
Asked about Chelsea’s starting goalkeeper, he said: “We will see. I haven’t decided yet and we still have 24 hours before the game tomorrow. As I’ve said before, we have two good goalkeepers in Rob and Filip, and we will make a decision.”
